On Friday August 26, 2022, Miami Senior High held its first pep rally of the year in the school  gym. The pep rally was a gathering of all the classes from freshmen all the way to seniors. It featured performances from the cheerleaders, color guard, the school choir, band, and more. They introduced the school teams like, football, cross country, swimming, golf, and the school mascot Whippy. They also mentioned that today the football team has a home game against KROP at Curtis Park.
