Miami Senior High’s Anime Nation is a club that caters to anyone who has an interest in anime, art, gaming, Japanese culture, and as of recent, animation too! The club is advised by Dr. B Ricknauth and their social media can be followed @mhs.anime_nation on Instagram.

Kayleen Robinson, the club’s vice president, reports, “We now have animation as an aspect or branch of our club handled by club member, Robin. Anime Nation is also currently working towards volunteering at OtakuFest, a convention that takes place in January; being more involved in the school; and putting the club out there more.”
For the homecoming parade, the club’s villain or villains of choice are Team Rocket from the popular anime franchise Pokémon. Thus, the officers and many artistically talented members of the club are working on their presentation.
Anime Nation is always accepting new members regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or where you come from. They can be found meeting in room 3315 every other Thursday after school at 2:30 p.m. and welcome anyone who needs a club where they can feel as though they belong and make friends whilst indulging in their interests.  (by Braynon Gay)
