TV production teacher and WMHS advisor Mr. Amaya would like to report the class’ recent success. TV students Alvaro Ramirez, Alejandro Chavez, Camila Camacho, and Mateo Ramirez won 3rd place in the Student Television Network’s feature story category with their story on a Christmas tree light-up ceremony in Fort Lauderdale. This national recognition was a big moment for the TV team and they look forward to future wins.
Mr. Amaya would also like to report they are having a fundraiser at the Chick-Fil-A in the River Landing location on December 21 from 2 to 7 p.m. Students who purchase from anything from Chick-Fil-A can select “Miami High Spirit Night” at checkout, where a percentage of proceeds will go towards funding their competition trip to California.
