Student Government Association (SGA) president Samantha Gonzalez reports that SGA recently implemented student court, where students get to mitigate issues caused within other clubs. Additionally, SGA is excited to be bringing back an event that hasn’t been done for years, called Sting Fest. This event will take place March 20th and clubs will be able to fundraise, sell food, play games, and overall make a fun experience for all students. SGA also just finished hosting candy sales for students to fulfill their class requirements. SGA represented Egypt in the Black Student Union (BSU) event for Black History Month by sharing Egyptian food with students and a board of informative content about Egypt’s history and culture. Finally, If you want to be an SGA Senator, remember to pass by room 3204 and speak to one of the current officers.
