MAJ Sanchez and 1SG Guerrero, the JROTC instructors, are proud to report that there was a Raiders meet on September 27th.
They started a new fundraiser this year called Snap Raise, which ends on October 9th, 2025. You can ask one of the Cadets how you can donate.
A very important piece of news is for the very first time in history, our JROTC Battalion will represent our school, our district, and the state of Florida at the Army Junior ROTC Raiders national competition to take place at Fort Knox, Kentucky from October 23 to the 26th.
Once again, the JROTC program will be having their Krispy Kreme fundraiser from October 27th to 31st. You can contact Cadets from the program when that time comes.
If you forgot or if you’re new to the school, it’s a dozen donuts for $12, so purchase your donuts!!!
Another thing that will return this year is our Cadets volunteering at the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at the Loan Depot Stadium on October 17th at 6:30 AM, and you are welcome to join us.
On October 15th, they will partake in the White Cane Parade (the parade for people who suffer from blindness) by providing Color Guard support.
Finally, MAJ Sanchez and 1SG Guerrero would like to congratulate all the new Stingarees who joined the program this year and would like to inform any gth or 10th graders who would like to join the JROTC program, go by room 2210 to see 1SG or MAJ at the end of the 1st quarter to join. There are only 20 slots left.
