Boys’ basketball coach Mr. Humberto “Tico” Govea reports that the team’s current record is 4-3. The season has been having its ups and downs, but the team is currently on a 5-game win streak having recently defeated South Miami. Their toughest opponents looking ahead of the schedule might be Mater Lakes, and opponents in their upcoming in-home tournament during the Christmas break called “The Holiday Invitational.”
Honorable mentions this season go out to Absalon Cortes (Junior) averaging 22 points per game, Romari Robinson (Junior) averaging 20 points per game, and Aaron Richards (Junior) averaging 12.5 points per game
