Ms. Cid, the chorus director, reports that the program has several exciting accomplishments and events coming up this spring. All three choirs—Men’s Choir, Concert Choir, and Women’s Choir—have qualified for States at MPA, marking a major achievement for the program and recognizing the dedication and hard work of its singers throughout the year.

In addition, 20 students have been selected to participate in the MDCPS Honors Choir, where they will perform alongside top vocalists from across the district. The Superintendent’s Honors Choir Concert will take place on Tuesday, April 14, showcasing these talented students.

Members of the choir program will also participate in State Solo and Ensemble on April 15,
with an a cappella group and they will represent the school and perform for adjudicators.
