The Leaders of F.E.A.
Ms. Enriquez has been the advisor of the Future Educators of America (F.E.A.) since 2023. In addition to her role as the F.E.A. advisor, she teaches Early Childhood Education (Levels 1-4) and Education and Training Directed Studies.
Senior Ariana Wallace serves as the F.E.A. president, while sophomore 1st Vice President Lenin Miranda and the other officers help organize activities for the school and teachers alongside Ms. Enriquez.

Why Should People Join F.E.A.?
Students should consider joining F.E.A. if they are passionate about teaching, leadership, and making a positive impact on their community. Members gain hands-on experience by working with children, students and educators, providing real classroom exposure.
F.E.A. also helps students prepare for the DCF exams and their CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. For those interested in leadership and networking, F.E.A. connects members with like-minded peers, mentors, and professionals in education.
Ms. Enriquez explains, “We attend the FIU conference, and next year, I’d like to attend the state conference. F.E.A. helps with college and career prep. We also focus on building skills in lesson planning, communication, and public speaking—skills that are essential for any career.”

F.E.A. members also have access to exclusive scholarship opportunities and the chance to participate in state and national events. One notable achievement is that junior Herbert Bresier, an F.E.A. member, earned a $10,000 scholarship towards FIU.
If you’re interested in community impact, F.E.A. engages in service projects that make a difference in schools and beyond. For example, F.E.A. students volunteer at neighboring schools like Kensington Park Elementary, where they assist with the Fall Festival and support the extended school year program for children with special needs. Many of these summer programs lack sufficient materials, so F.E.A. students step in to help teachers engage the students effectively.
In addition to community service, F.E.A. participates in marathons and other activities. Whether you dream of becoming a teacher or simply want to develop leadership and public speaking skills, F.E.A. is a great way to grow and prepare for the future.
